Question BP family. Its just myself and my wife starting this REI investment business. What would be the legal structure as it relates to forming the LLC? Partnership?

Hello Mr. Brown,

Generally speaking, there are a number of legal structures available to new entrepreneurs. There is no such thing as a one size fits all legal structure. I would highly recommend seeking out a Business Attorney around Lake Worth to discuss your concerns and individualized business plan with. No one other than a licensed attorney in Florida should be giving you advice on which form of business you should take. Available to you are things like LLCs, partnerships, trusts, regular corporations, professional corporations, and other statutory creatures of your particular state.

Find an attorney soon through your state bar's Lawyer Referral Service, or ask around for references.
