Need your help on altering my business name
I thought I was pretty sure on the name but the more I keep looking at it the more I think it should be slightly altered.
Since i'm relatively new i'd like to remain a wholesaler for at least a year, and have my business kind of reflect on that fact. I'll slowly transition into a buy and hold investor, so I wanted my name to be beneficial for both.
When I first started thinking of a name I was between two choices, "Tactical Property Investments" or "CG Property and Investments.
I stuck with "CG Property and Investments", because it didn't sound flashy and didn't come off as something a typical new guy would name his business. Until recently, I thought about some other ways I could phrase it:
- CG Property Investments
- CG Investment Properties
Any thought's or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

My first investment company I spent literally months just on the name creation, beyond ridiculous right, it gets worse.
I had intended to take 2 weeks for the name, for some reason I though it was a keystone importance for just as you mentioned future growth and change. As I struggled I then researched how to name companies, and that took me even further down the rabbit hole because now I was paranoid about how it would effect SEO rankings and patent infringements and all kinds of nonsense. After nearly 6 months, yes half a year, and 1 marketing firm, 3 logo design firms, 2 name think tanks, many family meets, brain storming, not to mention a small forest lost to all the damn sticky notes that had wallpapered..... well everything, we finally had a name. A name, that i didnt like, wasnt comfortable with, was uncertain of, and learned to accept, love and pump.
Aaaaand, I sold that company and name about 2 years ago, and you wouldnt believe how easy it was and how little I cared or it effected me, lol.
I have built, sold, and moved on from several now and have learned the important law that a name is not yours, it is the companies and it is a tool just like any other part of it. It will not dictate anything and if need be, it can easily be changed.
I say do it opposite, pick the stupidest worst name you can think of, one that makes you rip loose laughing every time you hear it because your first year networking no one will care and everyone is going to remember that guy from that crazy company __________, and networking DOES matter.
