how many properties per LLC

I know this is a common point of debate and there doesn't really seem to be 1 correct answer. just curious on everyones thoughts?

Welcome to BP!!

Instead of looking at number of properties per LLC, I would instead think of your exposure in terms of equity per LLC.

You can have 100 properties in one LLC that are all leveraged 100% with zero exposure for you. On the other hand, you can have 1 property worth $1 mil owned free and clear in 1 LLC and your exposure is $1 mil.

I try to keep my exposure to $200k per LLC.
