Fellow Investors who own in multiple states!!

Posted

I own in TN, TX, NV, CA, and MD and while creating my LLC structure I have had so many different opinions about how it should look! I'm seeking recommendations for how YOU did it and referrals for Real estate attorneys in any of these states. I've looked myself but would much rather go by a BP referral :)... Can't wait to hear what you have to say! :D

Currently I own in 5 different states and have done deals in 24. All have been purchased with an LLC from Texas or Wyoming.
I do not Register as a foreign entity in each state. The only time I was forced to do so for a sale was in North Dakota. Typically one gives up the opportunity to bring a lawsuit in that state(eviction is not part of that). However, in 30+ years I have never been part of a lawsuit and surely never intend to bring one
