Best Corporate Structure For A Canadian Investing In US?

I'm looking to purchase some buy & hold investment properties in the USA, I am a Canadian.

Is there a specific American business structure that I could use to invest in any state effectively & efficiently, or does the optimal corporate structure differ drastically from state to state?

I appreciate the help and advice, thank you!

Cheers

Hi Zackarias,

I have dual citizenship with the US and Canada.  I have purchased property on both sides of the border but only as a primary residence thus far.  I have several friends in Canada that are interested in doing the same thing you are.  We'll be looking into corporate structures as well.  It may be a little different having a US member of the corporation but I'll let you know what we come up with if you are interested.

Regards,

Cameron
