Changing Title to Another Entity After Doing a 1031

Bob E.

Posted

We did a 1031 exchange around the middle of 2017 where we sold one property in Phoenix and bought several in the midwest, everything closed in 2017.

We did the exchange in a trust and want to move the property to an LLC we own. Both entities are owned by my wife an I. Is there a waiting period, do we need to move all properties at the same time, are there other things I need to be aware of?

Thanks,

Bob
