Selling 2 properties and do a 1031 exchange

Hi BP folks, I am selling 2 properties and planning to do a 1031 so that I could defer taxes on profit gain. I know the replacement property has to be more expensive than the one I plan to sell. My question is:  

Can I use the proceed from selling 2 properties and only do one 1031 exchange so that I could roll in all the money and buy one property?
