Should an investor own there home or rent it ? I’m hearing a lot about renting your home and not owning it , it’s good to just own investments that make you money !

With the rent to price ratios so high are we at a disadvantage? This applies to 1to4 Fam and larger commercial deals, also with very low cap rates. There must be an upside. Any ideas?

I understand as a shareholder of an S-Corp you are supposed to pay yourself a reasonable salary for work performed on behalf of the business. You cannot pay distributions until you first pay yourself a salary.
