I'm curious to know if anyone has been successful in finding other sources of funding for their deals by attending REI club meetings or meetups?thanks

Our lender told us that second homes purchased after 2 Feb 2022 will now be charged a tax (4% of home price) up front.  Has anyone heard of this?
