Prior to making an offer, we're allowed one initial viewing of the inside of the property. Would it be better to have a GC or an Inspector walk the property? 

Any good advise for picking a home inspector?  Or using one at all?  It seems when a buying or selling recommends one, the inspector will usually OK the property. Are there inspectors that will work for the purchaser ...

Can anyone recommend some home inspectors in the Alexandria/DMV area?My realtor has a guy and I’m sure he’s fine and all but I can’t help but think it’s a conflict of interest? So just looking for some other reputables
