I've been part of Bigger Pockets on and off for the last about 2.5 years, mostly listening to the podcast...

Is there a way to just search the posts on STR forum only? I can figure out how to search all forums. Thanks.

Can you please provide information on how to unfollow a forum. According to the search, this has been a problem on this website for years and it seems like it should a very basic procedure. Could you please advise?

Why is it that sometimes when I click on a forum post I get a message that says "this forum is private" and it won't let me view the message?

These are not posts that would be in any areas that are restricted...

A great improvement to the forums portion of the BP site would be an edit-button for the forum postings. Make it a timed function - say; 15 minute post-posting.
