Can you apply a 25C federal tax credit to a STR?  All the info I see says it has to be a primary residence?

Can anyone provide an update on what they have heard about the existing tax credit. Is it being extended and if not how do you think this will affect the housing market after Dec 2009.

I would like to know if the delinquent property tax would be reported on one's credit report. Does anyone know how much the redemption penalty and fee are in CA?
