Circuit Court of Appeals late Thursday reinstated a nationwide injunction that had been issued earlier this month by a federal judge in Texas who had ruled that the Corporate Transparency Act was unconstitutional, Reuters reported on Friday, thus suspending the deadline once again for most reporting companies to file beneficial ownership information (BOI) reports with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN)."

Bankers will be asking for proof of this filing as you get loans in the future.https://fincen.gov/boi  It's not optional, It was deemed unconstitutional across a few court cases from TX and AZ, making it a national mess and confusing for everyone.

update on this, in my opinion unconstitutional law. in December 2024  a Texas judge put a stay on the Transparency Act.

While I agree with all your points (especially the unconstitutional eviction moratorium), selling means you will a) get hit with huge capital gains taxes (my friend just sold his 5-unit and got hit with $150,000 tax bill), b) there is no place to invest the proceeds (stock market is too risky, banks are risky and pay really low interest), and c) you are too young and if you change your mind and want to purchase more investment properties, interest rates and prices are too high.
