These big beautiful bricks have been here since the early 1900’s and aren’t going to get toppled over by a single or distressed section 8 lady that has been previously stuck in a shelter or one who’s fighting for her and her children’s lives.

The reason he suggested we do this is so we can give her power (and just pay it ourselves for her in the meantime) while we wait for the inspector to come out and approve the base meter upgrade, and then to send that to PPL, and then to have them come put her meter in, a process which could apparently take several weeks.Has anyone else done something like this?

This could have been lessened had the government put CAFE standards on light trucks etc.After we toppled the Taliban in Afghanistan (a necessary war IMO), we should have used my idea to "spread democracy" in the middle east: Tax the heck out of SUVs, but if you own one, give you a tax credit to CRUSH it and buy something more sensible.
