Hey bigger pockets family, I'm facing a dilemma that consists of me choosing whether or not to buy a tiny home and put it on my current home's property, creating an ADU to rent out or to save that money that I would put into the tiny home and save for my next purchase.

Most likely those would be smaller apartments, sub 50 units.It is harder to find solid property management on the smaller apartments.  

Get a 50% LTV loan and buy another property just like the one you own. 

Pretty solid appreciation in that area with an average of 5-7% per year, and it's also close to a lot of industries like the Chrysler plant.

Tiny house thing doesn't make sense to me btw because tiny homes aren't really good for appreciation, maybe only for cash flow.

We are in a tiny town about 36 miles south of Coeur d'Alene Idaho.

Might be a diamond on the rough if you can fix it up and then long-term rent.

I'm wondering if that might be less of an issue for something more rustic and temporarily occupied like camping/RV.Any one have any thoughts, parallel experiences, or other basis for insight?
