Look for your states offer to purchase contract online or contact a realtor to get a blank copy. review the agreement to be sure assignment is not expressly excluded. if there is nothing excluding assignment from the contract then writing the words "/And or Assigns" after the name or company's name on the buyer's line should be sufficient.Good luck!

I am working on a plan with a partner to develop an area, but we have never had to start from a blank slate. 

I’ve been down that road of carrying a line of credit on a property before, and the stress can realy pile on when you’re staring at that monthly interest.

But my impression is that many landlords skip this, I was in fact asked point blank by maintenance management during the repairs process why I opened up this proverbial “can of worms.” 

To protect our rights, we would definitely deliver a formal 5 day notice (Wisconsin Legal Blank), but at the same time indicate that we are looking to collaborate to find a solution.

Best advice I can give until you fill in one of the blanks.
