Jason,Springfield has some great properties available for cash flow and options for 2 family duplex/stackers. 

@Diane Kruse the only place where it made sense for us in a rental was when we had a stacker washer go and would have had to replace both washer and dryer because you have to have a unit that goes together, so we bought used. 

My first rental property was a long time ago, but it was a stacker duplex. 

Realtor by day, shelf stacker by night... or would it not be worth it...?

I have a LG stacker, I simply would not buy a domestic model anymore.Regular white top loaders can be had on Craigslist for far less than repairing one.

That being said  I am not worried about damage of tenants moving the units in and out we provide them because  the space is not unlimited so if you need a stacker you need to provide it. 

I am liking Batch though because of the data stacker.
