The APR is the interest rate plus fees like origination fees, discount points, and mortgage insurance, annualized.  

I recently did a short term fix and flip loan investor to investor loan for 6 months @ 5 pts and 15% interest rate. 

Now that same house you could have purchased for say $300K is now $325K+.So if you would have purchased that same home at a higher rate you are paying less versus a lower rate on the higher sale price.

You're talking about putting 50% down and then a 6.5% interest rate? 

The rates vary throughout the State because of the different millage rates and tax districts, but in Richland County for instance, the taxes essentially triple once it goes from legal resident to non legal residence. 

while we are talking about it Cal Fair  how much more are they than what had been typical insurance rates  ??
