What I have been finding is that the traditional players ( big banks, Cu ) that offer a true Heloc are assisting about 60 days to close and fund while the more online players such as Figure is offering A Heloc that to me is really a Heloan because you have to take the money over approved for the full amount but they promise a 7 days payout all things being equal.

For example, NC doesn't allow a double closing UNLESS you bring your own funds or use transactional funding and they DO NOT allow "pass through funding" which means using your end buyers funds to be used for your initial closing.I think you would be amazed at how many states now OR should I say title companies will not allow pass through closings.. its not the state its the title company that has their rules and regulations that you need to follow.  Â
