We have several who have called us and usually are glad to help (avoid meal times and be aware of their timezones).

If we tallied up the hours I suppose they may have owed me some back but I was happy they did a Rockstar job, worked through their mealtimes and cut out early for a long weekend.

Sonic Runs - ordering food for the team, letting them eat free (after residents have been fed at mealtimes of course), letting them know you appreciate them for the little things small gifts here and there when appropriate, having an open door etc. 

If they all work, the middle of the work day would be best, if one is a stay at home Mom with small children, missing meal times would be important, etc.
