From what I've seen, the days of the $1,000 and $2,500 deductibles for fire, lightening, water damage (not flood), etc. are becoming harder and harder to find.

Hiring a property manager under Option B lightens the burden but eliminates cash flow if you leverage the property with a DSCR loan.

You could also look into the STR / MTR strategy to help lighten the load as well but those come with their own challenges.
