In honor of Halloween what are the scariest things about investing past, present, or future for experienced investors? 

For instance - Easter baskets, Halloween candy, fun craft beers for St Patty’s Day, tons of options for Valentine’s Day, small tree and decor set up for Christmas, etc.  

@Luis Cerwin as others have stated, Nov - Jan is the worst time of year to have a vacancy.Majority of tenants live paycheck-to-paycheck, so all their income goes to Holiday spending starting with Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then xmas, then NYE.January is also historically the worst month for rent payments due to Holiday Hangover Spending.

I could write a novel on my experiences with Booking.com and given that's nearly Halloween, the genre would likely also be correct. 

ANother significant slow down after Halloween.
