There are a ton of complexities with properly repairing a fire damaged house....they sell really cheap for a reason.

I sent email notification to all tenants the following day saying that this is unacceptable behavior since it can potentially cause a fire and carbon monoxide poisoning.  

Funny thought...they make interior fire sprinklers. 

One of my rental properties in Austin had a fire recently when tenants used fireplace.

I feel sorry for the people losing everything in the fires , insurance will go up .But I wish I was the guy  driving this bulldozer ;t=162s
