I’ve lived in Cape Coral since 2013. 

I wasn't going to do vinyl due to weather concerns, was thinking chain link black vs pine wood!

Went to the open house and there is black mold in the garage, green mold on the ceiling and rotted and falling paint from a leaky roof.

Popular markets near us appear to be the hudson valley, adirondacks, finger lakes (although it seems STR's are under fire there), and even the cape cod area as we have vacationed there a lot and know the area fairly well.

Hi @Katie Lyon,Properties are typically still selling in Cape Coral right now to active buyers, even with elevated inventory.

Another thing is if you have black mold and you gut the property make sure you clean the air as well as you will still test positive for black mold, the spores can be floating around in the air still even if everything was removed! 

If you’re open to other spots, Jacksonville’s great for cash flow, and Cape Coral is booming, though hurricanes are a thing.
