It’s in Douglas county I believe, super curious if anyone has experience with any red tape there!

I've never seen a tenant come in with a tape measure.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of red tape involved.

These loans are more time consuming, challenging on documentation, and other red tape than you can think of to be honest. 

So I guess what your saying is...Aside from the city of Los Angeles chasing landlords away with anti-landlord legislation, rent control, and rental registration, etc, etc, and all the red tape that goes with it, here's another reason for landlords to close up shop and go somewhere else. 

Less red tape and you could rent out all the rooms right away if you purchase this as an investment property with 15% down.Either way, you’re in a solid position with your free housing perk, time to play the long game and set yourself up for future wins.
