So, cats are one of the most allergenic pets there is.

So if you're looking for allergen friendly, I'd suggest you consider fragrance allergies as well.

In addition, most tenants LOVE the look and are relieved that the lvp flooring is hypo-allergenic. 

I offered if we made an exception there would be a fee for deep cleaning to rectify and pet odors allergens etc.

I was surprised that i couldn't even charge people who bring these sorts of pets an additional deep cleaning fee to remove allergens for future guests thinking they had access to a pet fee home.

At $2--4/foot it's reasonable, almost tenant-proof (easy to repair if/when damaged) and perhaps BEST of all:  HYPO-ALLERGENIC!   

Maybe even hired allergy consultants to measure allergens.

Solid plank vinyl or good quality laminate (in non-moisture environments) is excellent and lasts far longer than carpet, and is able to be repaired.We find that most tenants appreciate the hypo-allergenic properties of a non-carpeted environment.Just a thought for the future...
