Here's the list of things I disabled for the Nest in my properties for those doing research:- Home/Away Assist: Off- Time-to-temp: Ready (Didn't touch)- Early-On: Off- Cool to Dry: Off- Sunblock: On - Ready (Didn't touch)- Leaf: Ready (Don't remember touching, but could have been enabled during setup)- Airwave: On - Ready- Lock: Currently off for one property (debating if I want to lock the thermostat at 68 for cooling and 78 for heating - and taking special requests from quests)

I have mostly 5 star reviews on AirBnB, HomeAway, and Booking.com, I have learned to reduce my "over the top provisions" to 3 things they are not expecting: Sunblock Spray ($5.00-$9.00) consumable  (use what you need, if you need) Most people bring sunblock, but usually will not pack enough.

You will need to buy wood or sun blocking type which will cost you more money and will probably be destroyed by your low-end tenants.

However, some of the other rules, like don't spray sunblock inside the house, don't sit on the furniture with sunblock on, extensive quiet hours, etc.... make your rental unappealing.

Also, invest in sun blocking curtains and noise proof your house between floors if you're doing a large renovation (rockwool insulation)
