If it is what I'm thinking where the box of equipment shows up and you just need to plug it in to the power and the existing cable/fiber/ethernet then yes that's a reasonable ask.

Our tenant just moived out and made several unauthorized changes to our house, including installing a Ring doorbell (which was removed, leaving two large holes drilled into the brick) and installing an outlet and ethernet connection on the wall above the fireplace (which he sighted as an improvement, but I'm not sure most renters will install a 40+ in mounted tv, making it an eyesore on the mantle wall in my opinion).

Wifi safe lockable container to keep router

This raises a red flag, so verizon suggested two options - 1. find out a wifi safe lockable container to lock the main router so guest can’t poke at it, 2. move the main router to my room on 3rd floor which will require running an ethernet cable from 2nd to 3rd floor.

Plug the coax into a nice WIFI router, with good USB/Ethernet ports, and stream to the TV, or even in a pinch, a $35 Rasberry PI, plugged directly into the HDMI port of the TV, will catch the WIFI signal, and bypass the garbage most TV's come with as far as an operating system.
