We call it an ELA (Express Loan Approval) where we can close in 15 days or less because it already underwritten.That ELA will outbid any offer even in some cases an "All cash" close because an "All cash" offer is usually well under the ask price.

The difference is the bank underwrites your file up front and offers an ELA or "Express Loan Approval" which is a guarantee to close in 15 days or less.

I believe you have to register with FEMA first, then you will actually get assistance in the form of a loan from SBA at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/Account/Register1 My friend and colleague @tami dubose is going through the process now and she's the one I got the link above from.

@Scott F.Hi Scott,EIDL loans come directly from the SBA, no banks are involvedApply at: disasterloan.sba.gov/ela I believe there is a notice on the site now about the $10k grant too.

I register for the first time at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/Account/Login and tried to see if I can add any bank information but no luck. appreciate any clarifications about this.

It will likely take a week at least to get out into place on the website.The website will likely be the same as it is for the current EIDL as it is an advance request portion of that process.The following is the site to go to: Disasterloan.sba.gov/ela Again, the grant portion of this is not live yet.

Nothing is certain but lots of telltale signs on their website.API ELA Homes LLC says they are in Santa Clarita, CA.
