As you probably guessed from the unpaid rent, the tenants did not leave a mail forwarding address that I could serve them court papers at. 

I have recently started writing down addresses of run down or abandoned properties that I would like to purchase, but I only have the owner's name.

FYI that the address listed as the mailing address for the city notices is still the property address. 

You can use urself/ US address for registered agent or an address you may have in Michigan.

I live about 20-25 minutes away in Bloomfield Township (Lake Geneva mailing address) and have a rental in Delavan. 

Since both lots had the same mailing address, this was the address used by the foreclosure attorney when posting the sale.  

Get your address changed!
