However, you need to make sure that the property in question really does sit within a 1/2 mile of public transit, per whatever definition Inglewood has set for public transit. 

Personally, I've found success in the STR market in the Greater Detroit area but have noticed an increase in competition lately and am considering transitioning to LTR for numerous reasons.

It is doable to do both jobs at the same time but if you really want to scale your income you would probably want to transition to real estate full time at some point.

But as long as it can be held in the Land Trust you are not required to file as a foreign entity.This is still generalizing, as this transition takes more steps.

Sq. is very active but everything in there is about 100 years old and is still in a transitional stage [IMHO].
