Exploring Greater Detroit Area Investment Opportunities - Let's Share Insights!

Hey BiggerPockets community,

As a realtor specializing in the Greater Detroit Area, I've noticed a surge of interest from investors in this region. With a rich automotive history, unique architecture, and revitalizing neighborhoods, Detroit seems to be gaining momentum again.

I'd love to hear from fellow investors and real estate professionals who have experience in the area. Are there any up-and-coming neighborhoods or property types you've found particularly promising? What challenges or benefits have you encountered when investing in Detroit's real estate market?

From my research, the multi-family market is particularly sparse and sought after while I regularly come across more single family deals and opportunities. Personally, I've found success in the STR market in the Greater Detroit area but have noticed an increase in competition lately and am considering transitioning to LTR for numerous reasons.

Let's dive into a discussion and share our insights on investment opportunities in the Greater Detroit area. Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback!

Best,

Keith Fitzpatrick
