Dylan Henke what might help is instead of taking a "leap" that could induce a fair amount of anxiety, decide to do a small project, say a cosmetic flip, create a 6 month plan, and back into small, week long steps.

Both of these are not a huge repair depending on how much of it you have and relative to how large of a renovation you are planning on doing.

Can I pay myself a salary throughout the project so that I don't have to go 3 - 6 months without receiving any income?
