Learn the neighborhoods first though.

I hear a lot of MF's in this City or Neighborhood don't seem to work, if I were you I would get into SFHs.

you need at least 3 of them that are interested and able to close on properties in that area if you intend on wholesaling it. as for fixing and flipping, the neighborhood must be in demand in order for it to flip within a reasonable time frame. the neighborhood has to be very marketable. 

By chance, is the homestead road the real estate firm located in the twin cities area?  

@Alex Deacon  Maybe at some point, but right now we just want to try and park the money in a neighborhood we are familiar with.
