The Final Frontier - Northeast DC

Friends,

First time buyer here. What are your thoughts/analysis on investing in Northeast? I’ve been contemplating purchasing in and around Trinidad. There are a lot of new projects and renovations coming to life up there. Too soon/too risky? Some folks are certain it will develop significantly over the next few years.

Thank you,

Sean

I bought a house in Trinidad 6 years ago and am doing great on it cashflow-wise, even after a cash-out refinance a year ago where I pulled out 100K in equity. Right now if you buy you're going to be near a break-even point, as prices have already skyrocketed in the neighborhood.
