PeerStreet titled the position "Newark, NJ Refinance #49" and it had Original Loan Term: 12 Months from November 14, 2018 and Maturity Date: December 1, 2019.This was probably a bad investment form the start, but not judging that here and instead discussing handling of a bad situation.

Obviously I'd be paying much more if I took the loan to maturity, but if I did plan on selling property A as soon as the renovations were complete on property B (6 months or so), I would think that would be a home run for me and not something I would necessarily want to talk to my lender about.

As for connecting, the REIA has 5 meetings a month- the General meeting is on the 2nd Tuesday (6-9), there's a "Roundtable Discussion" meeting on the 4th Tuesday (6-9), Breakfast on the Third Wednesday (8:30-10) and a Ladies only meeting the last Thursday (12-1) of the month.
