This is not the first time I have heard of issues of this nature as many of the investment clubs I am in are seeing GP's stopping the issuance of dividends and performing cash calls.Lastly, if you are a single family investor and thinking - who cares this is commercial, recognize commercial real estate has a significant impact on residential real estate since it will lead to banks being more strict on lending and a drop in rental rates on MF will make its way to residential.

Also, I only take care of the inside of the unit so very little issues there, so less expense.My SFR's are different in that I need to have some money to address major issues, like Roof repairs, painting (inside and out), etc.

Another thing I struggle with is that at one point the big house where my son grew up was 800K, and now its only 550k, so that's another issue I am having in addition to an emotional attachment to that house.
