I drag myself across the Lake whenever I can to attend them. 

I have a $750k townhome on lake Mtka that brings in about $3600/mo and that’s only 2200sf.

I am thinking about purchasing a single family in the Big Bear Lake Area of California.

We are currently looking into multi unit properties in the $1.5 M range in L.A. or 2 vacation homes ( 1 will be paid in cash) for STR somewhere in the Big Bear Lake/ Lake arrowhead area.

I am currently looking at a house in the Lake George, NY area to use as a Short term rental/airbnb/vacation home but the house is completely gutted which after a bit of research I now know you cannot get a normal mortgage.

We live on one of the only lakes in Broward County where you can have boats with motors, and we are adding a pool and spa, outdoor kitchen and patio with roof, as well as converting our carport and pantry/laundry room into a master suite.

Most of the tenants have been a few years into their career and want a nice place to live while they save money for a downpayment.My goals:- We would like to move to a southern lake home where cold/snow isn't an issue in a few years time.

From what I understand, there is a legal verification process involving the deed, so it is allegedly legit.  

@Steve Miklashevskiy I have an AIRBNB in Pocono lake and have a Property Management company there as well.

It is a landlord friendly area too in Lake County, Ohio.
