I renovated all 3 bathrooms myself and added additional improvements like backsplash, LED Mirrors, LVP flooring, etc.

Whether that is a bathroom closet behind your shower, or somewhere in the kitchen are going to be the best spots and most affordable.  

The home is 2200 square feet with 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, and a 600 square foot permitted mother-in-law apartment.

It is a 4 bedroom, with an office, and 2 bathrooms - 1800/sq. ft. house.I would really consider the driving factors for what is keeping the economy afloat there.

A few months ago, I received a call from Unit 1 stating that they were getting backup in their bathtub and bathroom sink.

- for example, a state employee who wears a suit everyday and makes 6 figures, smears feces all over his bathroom walls and the tub has a line of what seems to be a feces water ring...I have had a lot of success in land flipping and the freedom of that has spoiled me (no tenants, toilets, or inspections, just cash in my account every month).  

In the new system a bathroom that would run 4-5K, is estimated at $15K...2000sqft home - flooring =$3000...these numbers a laughable.

Does that also have 2 bathrooms?

I spoke to a friend of mine who lives in Canada and he said I could get a duplex because I want to house hack but also have privacy and my own area (not sharing the kitchen, bathroom etc). 

Its a small 2 bedroom ranch 1 bathroom with a crawlspace with easy access to pipes?
