Saving a couple of bucks on a historically low interest rate loan is only worthwhile if you are financially undisciplined and would otherwise waste those extra few bucks.If you had $250,000 in cash that was earning a 4% yield would you be happy with your returns?

A bit higher rate, much lower than rates are likely to be once inflation hits, locked in at an historically low rate, if not quite as low as non-commercial personal loan (which is what almost everyone gets and is what causes DoS issues).
