What type of fix-up work is needed for the home (i.e. floor work, plumbing heating and air conditioning, roof repair, etc)?

I had switched the gas and electric service to my company name so the house would have heat (it was winter) and my guys would have power for their tools.I contacted a local rent court agent company that I use and one of the owners, a former policeman, said that my only recourse was to file for "unlawful detainer."

I don't even like my neighbors mowing at the early hours they like to do it to beat the heat.

Do not start there, It is a ton of work, concrete can be damaged by heat and there is no guarantee the foundation was sound before the fire. 

First one was trim nails driven into baseboard heating pipes that sprung a leak and flooded two rooms, next was a leaking main water valve in the boiler room that flooded the same unit... 

The water heater is required in most jurisdictions just like a source of heat.
