Start looking at your local MLS or Zillow to see what stuff is listed and selling for.

How would you like a hair in your steak?

You only have to worry about it if you believe in that stuff.  

If we keep cutting off large sectors of the economy (elective medical procedures - all food service workers, hair dressers, schools, event/promotion industries) for another 4 weeks - you will see a super cascade effect in the economy that could be where we have 30%+ unemployment. 

We are very lucky to have a free place to live on the water, but that also means we have never purchased real estate and not familiar with living on land anymore... stuff like prices for lawn care, flood insurance, garbage removal etc.

Get your RE license and pay attention to the stuff in the course that most agents think they don't need.

Just some stuff to think about

For example, often fire damage is water damage--they put the red stuff out with wet stuff.

I wish I had spent 80% of my time doing all that stuff and 20% of my time going out with friends, doing a bit more traveling, going on a road trip, etc.  

Coffee shop, cell phone store, gym, tanning, hair salon, insurance agent, dentist, convenience store, etc.
