it is a real issue....but it is not limited to real estate investing. idiotic behavior dwells in all realms of society. the trick is what do you do.....your experiment may be your initial answer. if your wife is getting results....let her get them(if it's about the business). by allowing that, you are generating the income and very soon you will not need the bank. how do you deal with discrimination. ...you acquire for yourself the very thing you feel is being withheld.

Also, Seattle now requires that you take the *first* application or you will be sued and you now can not do a criminal check.
