If you find nice upgraded homes in your area and you find a couple that are rented it could make sense to do some nice upgrades in the kitchen and bathroom.

After closing, we have made the property complete lead free, minor work on the outside, replaced all exterior doors, rehabbed the bathroom upstairs, and added/rehabbed a brand new shower in the basement.

Check the roof, plumbing, electrical, heating, AC, pool, kitchen upgrades and bathroom upgrades because these tend to be the biggest expenses.

It's hard to know, could be local sales comps dragging it down, a change in facts that Zillow has about the property (like number of bedrooms, bathrooms, change in square footage, etc), change in valuation by the assessor, or something else.

- Does the place have popcorn ceilings (8th picture, there is some texture on the ceiling) - Your hardwoods look god awful, like they need to be refinished, plus wood paneling -- yuck. (13th picture) - Probably one of the most dated kitchens I've ever seen (14th picture) - What appears to be a leak of some kind in the kitchen, top right (15th picture) - Drop ceiling...yuck (16th picture) - No pictures of bathrooms, but I bet they're a disaster.So lets recap -- this place needs a ton of work.
