From what I've read and learned so far I feel it's a natural fit for me to move into (hopefully full time eventually) from the auto sales industry.

I'm sure the range is huge, but what could one expect to budget fully (ball park figure) for a project consisting of two units, building the exterior and finishing the interior themselves?

If you want to park your money and get strong returns then buy a cash flow property in an area where you can get a great turnkey rental for that much or less.
