North Dakota Investing

Has anyone invested in North Dakota?
Single family vs. Mobile home with land (not in park)?
I was reading about "American Full House". They are buiding Executive Hotel Studios, about a 50K investment with profits being split 50/50 between comany and investor. Has anyone heard of this? Good or bad idea? I'm looking to make my first investment.

Check out a company called Target Logistics. They were awarded $30 million contract to provide workforce housing in the Bakken. This article says Target Logistics is the largest work force housing provider in the US and one of the largest in North America. They are building these lodges up here.

It would take a lot of money to do something by Watford or Williston but the areas around outer edges of the oil field might work.

In Carpio a company bought a school and converted it to housing. The craigslist add made it look pretty nice.

Stanley is growing. They built a new hotel there and lots of new single families. I will bet the hotel is 100% full for the summer. Road construction season.

My friend is living in an extended motel, he's got a kitchenette room, maybe 12X12 and it is $950 a month in Ross. 8 mile from Stanley. 20 miles from Tioga. On Hwy 2.
