Once your team is in place, make sure you are on as many STR OTA's that fit the type of traveler you are going for and get them sycned with a good PMS and you are all set! 

Why not advertise on CraigsList and in the headline of the ad say that you are looking to rent to a seasonal worker, I.E. a traveling nurse, who's contract ends in December of 2020 or January 2021.

What  I can tell you is that between expenses we run through the company... cars,car insurance, phone, internet, health insurance, liability insurance, tax prep, some travel, etc... along with depreciation on properties and the associated repairs, maintenance, etc, we have zero tax liability on our rental income.  

Allowed me to travel/vacation anywhere from 45 days a year up to 7 months when desired3.
