I am new to real estate investing and was looking into taking a heloc on my primary to purchase land and do a construction loan.

However, I look at it like this; my risk is limited to $795 for my first rehab project.  

I will also be in BPCON and look forward to meeting many of you there. 

Typical properties we are looking at are around 400k.

I recommend having an attorney handle it since it is not expensive.

Any recommended companies out there?

One tenant claims people are breaking into the house and hitting her at night.
