everyday you can open the windows.In one unit I could not get rid of dog smell and was putting down new kitchen floor when I moved refrigerator for the third time and found a big tuff of dog hair, once I took care of that the smell went away.After that we went pet free.

Sounds like the kitchen is fine and you don't need new air. $5000 on a kitchen.. $50+/rent a month = 100 months before you see positive benefits.

Are you doing any renovation and if so what amount have you budgeted for the renovation. 30k for now, and that is without redoing the kitchen and bath...Keep us updated and if you can keep a BP diary of this sale and renovation that would reslly be good.

There is a lot of REI material (online and courses) that insist that people don't want to live in 'renovated' space ... because it makes them think that underneath that good-looking kitchen or bathroom, there's a really awful kitchen or bathroom hiding (or at the very least, it was recently a wreck).
