I do understand your given scenario as I have been in contract with 2 properties in Daytona beach, FL in which I ended up pulling out after inspections but insurance was an added factor as well.

Then he proceeded to walk through the home and point out reasons why he would not pass my plumbing inspection, nothing to do with plumbing btw.I've jumped through his hoops fixed what he's pointed out and got the electrical permit pulled and got a passing electrical inspection.
